Mission
Take over actuarial and marketing responsibilities within our marketing team of Northern Eastern Europe (NEE).
Department
Northern Eastern Europe (NEE) is the Marketing Team responsible for Russia and the CIS countries, Poland and the Baltic States within SCOR GLOBAL LIFE. The main focus of the team is to further strengthen our position in this emerging market area and to propose our reinsurance solutions and services to the markets. The NEE team is located in Cologne and Moscow.
Responsibilities / Main job duties
- Continuous fine-tuning of the pricing guidelines for all countries of the NEE market
- Pricing of the daily business of the NEE countries
- Modelling of insurance and reinsurance solutions
- Research regarding market statistics, products and new developments in the life insurance markets in the respective countries
- Actuarial planning, estimations, support in the quarterly and yearly closing process according to local GAAP and IFRS
- Marketing support through client visits, publications, seminars, etc.
- Monitoring of the reinsured portfolio (experience studies, forecasts)
- Close contact with the Cologne office with frequent visits
In this position you report directly to the Head of Northern Eastern Europe (located in Cologne).
Skills / Profile
- Graduated as an actuary/mathematician
- Solid experience in Life (re)insurance of 2-3 years (also beginners are welcome)
- Team-player, open-minded
- Strong communication skills
- Knowledge of English (fluent)
- German (ideally)/Polish language skills are appreciated
